SERVICE OVERVIEW
MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Academic Coaching
We understand school can be stressful. There’s classwork, homework, quizzes and tests, social groups and events and tons of extracurricular activities. It may be even more stressful for student-athletes who have obligations to sports teams or those who have jobs. And we didn’t even mention household chores. Times of stress are heightened around transitions such as starting middle or high school, a student’s junior year of high school (when college talk becomes more serious) and when transitioning to college.

Unfortunately, most school systems assume students will learn necessary coping and organizational and study skills as they grow. Some students need more support and we’re here to help students (and parents) who may be feeling anxious about academic challenges, navigating the educational system and important decisions that need to be made about a student’s future.

In addition to assisting with class and time management, ADH Consults will assist students with academic transitions, ideation, planning long-term projects and studying for tests.
COLLEGE STUDENTS AND RECENT GRADUATES
Early Career Navigation
Now that you’re in college, you probably understand there’s even more of a focus on life after college. What’s your major? How much money can you make with that degree? Are additional degrees needed to land your dream job? Will you be going to graduate school or straight into the workforce? Ahhh! ADH Consults realizes that outside of a possible afterschool job held while in high school, most college students have not had much professional work experience so there’s even more pressure to acquire it through internships or co-ops and actually figure out what you’re working towards. Since we understand looking for internships and post-graduation employment can be overwhelming, we’re here to assist with the process.
We will:
Strategize to help you understand your internship and job options and narrow down your choices.
Coach you through crafting an effective resume and cover letter and other business communications such as thank you letters.
Review coursework, extracurricular activities and leadership and volunteer experiences to ensure your college experience is properly preparing you for life post-graduation.
Evaluate your social media profiles to make sure they reflect your professional brand.
No matter the need – internships or first post-graduate role – ADH Consulting will guide you through the interview process so you feel confident and prepared.
PROFESSIONALS
Resonant Leadership
No matter where you are in your career, job searching can be overwhelming. The current job market is extremely competitive and sometimes, your experience or many degrees may not make you a shoo-in for a role. Despite the market, we’re determined to help you get the role you want by assisting you with personal branding, searching, interviewing, networking and other skills needed to live and thrive in a career.
Using a holistic approach, we’ll teach you how to confidently present your experiences and passions while empowering you to feel self-assured when highlighting your strengths and conversing about your weaknesses. We’ll form a partnership to help you build the foundation needed to transition into a career or rotate your current career in a positive, new direction. Lastly, we’ll teach you the importance of self-advocacy so once you’re hired, you’ll maximize your professional growth.
VIRTUAL COACHING
Consistent communication and unlimited ability
Modern technology (FaceTime, Teams, Zoom, etc.) provides the flexibility to offer sessions to clients no matter where they live. Therefore, instead of meeting face-to-face, we would talk via video conference. ADH Consults coaches use video conferencing to help clients develop success, no matter the client or coach’s physical location.

There are great benefits to online coaching, including:
Evaluation. Being able to evaluate how the client multitasks or manages attention while in a comfortable setting can enable the coach to suggest ways to increase productivity.
Comfortability. Clients are able to meet coaches where it’s most comfortable for them – home, office, couch or dining room table.
Convenience. No matter a client’s location, virtual coaching allows them to meet wherever they are – home, office or boat (as long as there’s Wi-Fi, of course).
Privacy. Since clients will be meeting in the comfort of their home or office, there’s no risk of bumping into familiar people or getting questioned by managers about why you’re leaving the office for a midday appointment.
Savings. Clients save both time and money with virtual coaching because there are no related transportation fees (parking, gas, etc.) involved nor is there the need to allot additional time for traveling when scheduling appointments.
